Happy to Announce
Took a “day job” to help manage Reno’s beloved plant shop - Sierra Water. The elevated plant warehouse and boutique is known for its wonderful atmosphere of plants, art and flowers - with a community of creatives behind, who find joy in providing exceptional service.
…Working among the giant plants, fresh and local flowers, and on such a terrific team, is proving to be a profoundly positive & creative decision.
Below, a few shots - for the socials.

2024
Just wrapped an exciting new chapter, managing first quarter operations at Butter & Salt’s latest venture - Perren Grocery at RanchHarrah.
The charmed space - for coffee, fresh pastry and elevated grocery goods - is an enormous asset and exciting addition to Reno…. Now opening in Nashville, TN, too!

New Work: 4D, AUGMENTED REAITY
Finally playing again with “cosmic tumblers” - this time in augmented reality. My thanks to the UNR staff and students at the DeLaMare Library for their assistance scanning some of the 3D sculptures and prototypes for the MindSET project.
Up until now all this had largely just been imaginary stuff, swirling in my imagination. Now its starting to feel even more imaginary and even more real….Increasingly, the other side of a singularity feels like a bridge between one and zero; an aperture of vision between two worlds, that winks at us as the positive and negative space swirl around each other in infinite probabilities, moving ever further (or closer) apart from the viewer (depending on the inherent direction implied by perspective).
Hopefully one day, the world line of these ideas bumps into other people too, since at its core is a simple Fibonacci sequence easily taught to the youngest of toddlers.

TEACHING: PRE-K+CURRICULUM!
MINDSETS: Art is Learning, by Design, 2021, an early childhood learning curriculum with stacking components extending through advanced maths and interdisciplinary studies in science, beyond 12th grade.
Approaching art, in ways that “stack” math and science skills, is a large part of my own studio art practice, which I translate into learning tools made from recycled materials.
TEACHING: EARLY CHILDHOOD!
So happy to announce! You can now find me at Patagonia’s Truckee River Child Development Center, seasonally substituting and practicing the REI philosophy with children (from infancy to age 6…Let the wild rumpus start!).
